    Video Monitoring Repository

    InStep is a video based evidence creation application that allows you to make a repository of videos that are used for activity-based assessment. Videos of differing times can be looked at to identify the learner's progress.

    InStep may be an ideal alternative, as disabilities or special requirements may render standard assessment criteria inappropriate or inpractical.

    Re-enabling the Disabled

    LexDis has explored the experiences of disabled students when working in e-learning situations. Helpful guides have been created, providing hints, tips and strategies on how to make the most of e-learning technology.

    Magnifier is an open-source screen magnifier to accompany the NVDA screen-reader, which has been designed for visually-impaired users.

    Unlike similar tools found in Windows Operating System's, this multiple functionality on a partable and interchangable format, making it practical and easy to use.

    The project will explore the use of metadata to drive the creation, accessibility and commercial availability of digital content to dyslexic school pupils and elderly visually impaired.

    Synote is a free web-based application that allows you to synchronise your notes with audio and/or video and also transcribe your audio recordings for you.

    Index Notes with 'Synmarks'

    Notes can be tagged with 'Synmarks' which enable you to find, associate and link notes to a part of your audio or video, whereas other software will only let you do this to the entire resource.
